Our Target Market

  • Inside Out Purchasing & Supply focus exclusively on the Purchasing & Supply Chain sector. Purchasing and Supply Chain Management is now regarded as one of the most critical business functions and as such the demand for talented people in this area is growing rapidly as companies increasingly look to purchase goods and services in the most cost efficient manner.
  • Demand for good purchasing staff is high and is predicted to grow further. Salaries have progressed more quickly in recent years than in more traditional business functions (Sales, Finance, and Human Resources etc).
  • Furthermore, in the current economic climate companies are seeking to make cost savings more than ever.
  • The Purchasing & Supply Chain sector remains a niche area. There are very few truly specialist Purchasing & Supply Chain recruiters so having been established since 2001 Inside Out now has a solid foothold across the UK market and a high level of brand awareness.
  • There is a noticeable difference in the level of competition when compared with either the mainstream professional or high street recruitment markets, in short our market is not saturated and is difficult to break into without a genuine knowledge of the purchasing function.
  • Our consultants work across multiple industry sectors (both private and public), meaning that any sort of downturn in a particular sector has little impact on us. Furthermore many of our clients are global businesses, so whilst they may be based in the UK they incorporate many of the global growth markets such as China, India and other emerging economies.

  • We are independent and owner managed. Our directors are hands on, approachable and understand the problems/ issues that recruiters face on a day to day basis; they will work with you to overcome these issues.
  • We have ambitious expansion plans and are looking for key staff to help us deliver our objectives. Unlike many agencies we don’t have a high attrition rate, successful consultants typically stay with us for a long time.

  • We are operated by a unique combination of recruitment and purchasing professionals. One of our directors has the trade qualification of our sector (Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply Diploma) and has worked in purchasing roles in the Engineering, IT and Banking sectors thus affording us an unrivalled knowledge of the market we operate in and a unique selling point to put to clients.
  • Our management team take an individual approach to each member of staff allowing autonomy, flexibility and a tailored approach for each member of staff as opposed to a strict “one size fits all” policy.
