Home > Candidates > How we work
Upon registering with us – whether by applying for a particular vacancy or simply by submitting your CV for consideration against any possible roles - your CV is made accessible to all of our specialist consultants. Data handling is of paramount importance to us and you can be assured your details will not get into the hands of any 3rd parties.
What next?
If we can progress the vacancy/ vacancies you have applied for (i.e. in our eyes you are a suitable match) we will be in touch with you very soon. If we do not think you are a suitable match for the vacancy/ vacancies you have applied for, we will add your CV to our system for consideration against other roles we are currently dealing with and any future vacancies which we are instructed to handle.
When we are asked to recruit by a client we search our database for suitable matches. Our database search works predominantly by searching CV’s for keywords. For this reason we recommend you put as much ‘purchasing specific’ content as possible on your CV. Read our guidelines for writing a Purchasing & Supply Specific CV here.
Try not to get disheartened!
Occasionally candidates get frustrated if they don’t hear from us. If we are not in touch it is because we are focusing on trying to find something more suitable for you. It is simply not possible to provide feedback on each and every application our candidates make - there is not enough time in the day.
We would remind you that we provide a free service to candidates. Our clients pay our fees, which means we have to be answerable to them rather than to our candidates. Rest assured if you are a good match for any of our vacancies we will be in touch!
