A World Leader in Derbyshire is seeking to recruit a Global Category Executive to join their Procurement Division and help drive their pursuit of a Global Procurement Strategy.
Reporting into Senior Management, this challenging role will be responsible for meeting global business requirements through the development and execution of category strategy.
You will be pivotal in the functional and professional development of the buying function and be accountable for strategic sourcing decisions, supplier strategy and cost performance.
To be successful it is essential that you have a proven background in a global procurement role with a complex supply chain. You will have had exposure to working within different global cultures, have operated at senior management level and have the ability to lead, develop and inspire a team of people.
In return the salary is negotiable in the region of £80,000 - £95,000 plus a strong benefits package.
