Inside Out have been engaged by a leading FMCG/Retail organisation to recruit a Supply Chain Analyst
Main Purposes of the Job
* Through effective use of the forecast replenishment system and associated systems, manage up to 4000 SKUs, up to 75 suppliers through 3 Intermediate Warehouses. Key Results Area
Availability
* To execute the forecast replenishment process to ensure all orders are placed accurately and timely to drive optimum availability * To ensure forecasts and supplier orders are accurate and timely for all lines to drive full availability * To implement the new line introduction and deletion process through the replenishment system to drive availability and minimise costs within the supply chain * To project manage the range review process for Product Supply to ensure seamless changeover of deletes to newlines whilst not affecting sales * To resolve all supplier delivery issues to mitigate any impact on Availability * To process and implement all promotional events to drive optimum availability * To analyse sales to identify trends and take appropriate action to drive availability and sales * To resolve all operational store issues within the agreed SLA to enable communication to stores * To provide communication to stores on all supply issues stating appropriate alternative if required
Cost
* To review replenishment parameters with suppliers that will minimise supply chain costs. (E.g.: ordering frequency, vehicle drop size, route to market, order multiples) and recommend to the Supply Chain Category Manager for improvements to availability or to reduce cost * To work with other supply chain colleagues to ensure optimum solutions and best practices are followed to drive availability and minimise supply chain costs.
Quantitative Information
* Responsible for the supply co-ordination of between 2,000 - 4,000 skus (approx.) * Up to 75 (approx.) suppliers * To support sales in the region of circa £100m - £200m per annum * Responsible for the inventory management up to the value of £10m per annum
Requirements
Key Skills Previous experience in Product Supply / Logistics (stock management or forecasting) - ideal 2 years
