Our Stafford based client which operates in the manufacturing sector is currently seeking to recruit a Supply Chain Analyst.
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:-
The main purpose of the role is to co-ordinate all UK Supply Chain process improvements, cost optimisation, data management, inventory analysis and ERP best practise projects - driving forecasting, inventory, distribution and purchasing activities across a global supply network.
KEY TASKS:-
* Monitor and analyse the flow of materials through the Supply Chain, with particular attention on finished goods purchasing, inventory and outbound customer service. * Responsible for the planning and purchasing of inventory dedicated to specific product channels. * Provide software and system solutions to optimise Supply Chain department working processes. * Support Supply Chain management in projects supporting process and ERP best practise. * Initiate and drive improvements within the physical Logistic operations, co-ordinating and delivering small projects. * Develop and maintain sourcing strategies for key product channels. * Analyse Supply Chain cost and efficiency recommending changes to enable improved cost performance. * Lead improvements in data analysis, control and reporting. PERSON SPECIFICATION:-
* Experience - Min 2 years in a Supply Chain environment, ideally in Analytical or Planning based roles. * Education - Degree Level (or equivalent qualification). * Skills - MRP/ ERP experience. Advanced M/S Excel & Access is essential.
SALARY & BENEFITS:-
* Salary dependant upon experience (Max £25,000 - £26,000). * 25 Days Holiday per year. * 37 Hours per week. * Stakeholder pension scheme - Company contributes 4%, Employee contributes 4%. * Share scheme.
