Inside Out Purchasing and Supply Chain have been instructed by our Suffolk based client to recruit for a Supply Chain Manager.
Responsibilities will include:
Overseeing the full end-to-end supply chain process from materials ordering to finshed product delivery.
Managing the medium term planning process to ensure cost effective production and optimum stock levels are met.
Looking at the present supply chain structures and porcesses with a view to recommending and implementing improvements.
Proven supply chain experience within logistics and retail distribution working in a manufacturing environment is essential. Numerate, highly motivated, you will be able to work to deadlines and under pressure. Knowledge of IT systems and related warehouse management IT systems is fundamental as is an ability to think strategically and be able to contribute in all areas for the benefit of the business as a whole
