A global leader is seeking to recruit a Purchasing Manager to join their business and head up their significant capex spend across multiple sites in the Derbyshire area.
Managing a team of people, you will be responsible for a budget in excess of £60M and will expected to manage the procurement process, much of which will be on a project basis, from cradle to grave.
This will specifically involve defining, implementing and rolling out the procurement strategies designed to create best value for the business. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and will be targeted on cost savings.
To be considered, you will have demonstrable experience of managing high value Capex projects as your primary focus. Ideally CIPS qualified you will have a strong focus on stakeholder relationships, be proactive in your approach and have a strong understanding of an engineering environment.
In return the salary will be in the region of £45,000 plus a strong package. |
