Our client is a retail business based in Nottinghamshire. They currently have a vacancy for an experienced Merchandiser to join their product department.
The role will involve extensive liaison with suppliers, running and analysing regular stock and demand reports, forecasting and involvement with new product launches. You will be required to identify slow lines, organise stock transfers and product recalls as well as managing buy back agreements with suppliers whilst responding to stock queries from other internal departments.
With previous experience of working in a merchandising planning environment, you will be familiar with store and distribution planning of stock and replenishment. Previous supervisory experience and knowledge of SAP would be advantageous but are not essential. |
