Inside out Purchasing and Supply have been instructed by our Hertfordshire based to client to recruit for a Strategic Buyer.
The strategic buyer will be responsible for but not limited to:
Issuing enquiries, reviewing quotes and proposing sourcing decisions.
Analysis on all suppliers, evaluation market trends, industry, country & commodity trends.
It is the responsibility of the Strategic Buyer to draft, negotiate and implement supply agreements on key supplier accounts as directed by the Strategic Sourcing Manager.
To be considered for the role you will need to have previous experience as a buyer, ideally within a manufacturing/engineering background although buyers from other industry sectors will be considered.
In return for this you will receive a basic salary of between £25,000 and £28,000.
Please note some regional and global travel will be required to fulfil this function.
