Inside Out Purchasing & Supply have been appointed by a globally renowned company to recruit for a Materials Planner/Scheduler. The role is based in West Yorkshire and offers a salary of £25,000 - £29,000 (depending on experience)
Responsibilities:
. Maintain supplier schedules on Oracle
. Manage supplier relationships to ensure effective delivery performance
. Expedite good to support plant scheduling and release
. Provide feedback to planning and order entry of supply problems with customer impact
. Monitor supplier delivery performance and work with supplier to improve
. Use judgement an initiative to set stocking parameter and schedules to maintain stock within defined overall limits
. Maintain systems data for scheduled components in Oracle
. Work to company and industry standards
To be considered for this role candidates must have the following:
. Manufacturing Process knowledge
. Demonstrated understanding of MRP and materials planning and scheduling principles
. Experience of managing supplier relationships
. Ability to plan & manage work on own initiative
. Problem solving capability
. Supplier process knowledge
. Computer skills - Microsoft Office, Oracle applications
. Educated to degree standard in a related discipline or equivalent experience
