Food Buyer (Polish Speaking)

Inside Out have been engaged to recruit a Polish speaking food and beverage buyer. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in FMCG buying or Category Management gained from working for a large wholesale/retail business The role of the buyer is to negotiate with suppliers to source best in market products for B2B independent customers, and achieve stretching margin and income targets.

You will be given full responsibility to procure a range of food products for this rapidly growing business. You will have the autonomy to make the day to day and strategic decisions that will have a direct impact on the success of this rapidly growing and successful business.

Key areas of the role will include:

. Negotiation of supplier terms to meet financial targets.
. Supplier relationship management.
. Selecting a market leading product range.
. Range management and category planning.
. Influencing internal and external stakeholders to meet business objectives.
. Continually sourcing new products and suppliers.
. Strong commercial attitude and knowledge of food retailing.
. Working closely with suppliers to develop new supply chain initiatives.
. Working closely with the Sales and Marketing Manager.
. Liaising with the sales force.

Applicants should have the following skills and attributes.

. Highly developed negotiation skills.
. Grocery buying experience gained within the retailer/wholesaler sector.
. Ability to work in a fast paced trading environment.
. Educated to degree level.
. Able to demonstrate a strong track record of achievement within their career to date.
. Ability to use SAP B1 and MS Excel are essential.
