Inside Out Purchasing and Supply have been appointed by a Blue Chip Company to recruit for Inventory Controller/Buyer. This role is to be based in South Yorkshire and offers a salary of up to £16,000 - £20,000.
The purpose of the role is to place and progress orders using SAP across a Global supplier base and to resolve any queries arising from this. You will also analyse customer demands, sales forecasts, promotional activity and manufacturing trends in order to make appropriate decisions around purchasing requirements. In addition you will be responsible for maintaining inventory targets within your designated product area.
This is a great opportunity for someone who already has purchasing experience to build on their purchasing knowledge within an international organisation. You must have previous experience of using MRP systems, preferably SAP. Due to location, own transport would be an advantage. |
