Inside Out Purchasing & Supply has been engaged by one of Europe's leading providers of branded merchandise. Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Buyer who must have experience of sourcing premiums promotional merchandise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* To source and develop supply sources mainly from Europe
* Work closely with the sales department as a team
* To negotiate price, quality & delivery with vendors
* To work with the in-house design department or sales team on product ideas and concepts, as well as autonomously developing bespoke products from start to finish
* To write detailed product specifications and create purchase orders
* To accurately cost a project and ensure it is delivered within budget
* Liaise with suppliers on production schedules and sample approvals
* Produce critical paths and manage the supply base to ensure key dates are met
* To define quality requirements and ensure laboratory testing is done accordingly
* To review current suppliers and find alternatives where necessary
