Inside Out Purchasing & Supply has been engaged to recruit a Procurement Analyst for a blue chip company based in Derbyshire.

In this key role you will be responsible for the provision of critical day-to-day support to the wider Procurement team comprising 5 Category Managers, the Strategic Contracts Manager, and the Head of Procurement to enable the efficient and effective delivery of Procurement projects, the successful realisation of Procurement strategies, and the hitting & exceeding of Procurement and wider UK financial targets. Working particularly closely with the Programme Manager, you'll be the 'master data & systems expert' half of the Procurement 'Programme team' who together are trusted and relied upon by all those around them.


In order to be considered for this role you will need:

Comfortable working with large datasets containing vast volumes of data
Extensive use of enterprise systems such as Oracle or SAP, ideally with a P2P and Master Data Management (MDM) focus
Knowledge and understanding of the Procurement function and how it interplays with other functions e.g. Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering
Knowledge and understanding of P2P processes
Advanced level MS Excel e.g. pivots, use of advanced formulas including embedding/nesting within conditional logic and error handling, data type conversion etc
Good general level of IT skills, e.g. word processors, email, presentations
