Inside Out Purchasing & Supply has been engaged by a leading FMCG company to recruit and experienced Production Planning Manager. A good working knowledge of SAP production planning is essential, with experience gained in a FMCG or food environment.

Skills and Competencies

* Experienced in production planning in FMCG or food environment essential
* Experience in hands on planning using SAP and previous experience in production or other areas of supply chain
* Ability to streamline current processes, and innovate to improve overall service
* A proactive approach to tackling problems
* Able to manage own time efficiently, prioritise and escalate issues in a timely manner
* Team player keen to adapt and to contribute to the common goals of the department and business overall.
* Excellent communication skills, particularly in written form, and can relay information clearly and succinctly to colleagues of all levels and external contacts.
* Highly numerate and literate
* Good IT skills essential - Excel to intermediate or advanced level
* Experience of successfully leading teams or projects an advantage
