Inside Out Purchasing & Supply has been engaged to recruit a Temporary Engineering Buyer for a leading blue chip client. This contract is expected to last a minimum of 6 month and is likely to be extended beyond this. The pro-rata salary for this role is around £35,000.

The Person :
-Business Acumen in the Procurement/Supply Chain industry and Mechanical Engineering
Familiarity with quality engineering methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma)
Strong knowledge of quality standards, production guidelines, business process, and document management.
-Excellent Influencing & Negotiating skills
-Sense of Urgency
-Self starter
-Demonstrated skills in developing strong business relationships with suppliers
-Work efficiently, independently & in team environment
-Able to manage multiple projects & competing priorities.
-Relevant experience using an ERP software, preferably SAP.
-Advanced skills using Microsoft office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
-Clear and effective communication, both written and oral skill
